PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

A Message from the NEPTC President

Dear NEPTC Members and Friends,

I’m honored and excited to step into the role of President of the New England Parking & Transportation Council. Having served on the NEPTC Board for several years, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication, collaboration, and sense of community that make this organization so special. Now, I’m eager to build on that foundation and continue moving NEPTC forward.  I would be remiss if I didn’t thank Andy Hill for his past leadership.  He guided us through the most difficult time in our organization’s history helping set us up for the future to come.  We couldn’t have done it without you, Andy!

This year, our focus is on increasing engagement and broadening our reach across New England. We want to create more ways for members to get involved and make their voices heard. One of our biggest priorities is inviting members to volunteer for committees. This will provide an opportunity to share your experiences, connect with others, and help shape the direction of our organization. Getting more members involved at the committee level not only strengthens NEPTC today but also helps cultivate the next generation of leaders who will guide us in the years to come. We currently have our Call for Volunteers open. If you are interested in joining a committee, please reach out to Dawn Marti by October 31.

We are also looking forward to connecting with new audiences, especially commercial members who may not have been active in NEPTC previously. By introducing new forums and opportunities for engagement, we hope to create a more inclusive and representative community that reflects the full range of parking and transportation professionals across the region. And of course, we will continue to provide education, resources, and opportunities for our members across higher education, municipal government, healthcare, transit, private operations, technology, and more.

I encourage you to take part in this momentum, whether by joining a committee, attending an event, or simply sharing your ideas. Together, we can continue to grow NEPTC as a dynamic, collaborative network that drives our industry forward.

Thank you for your continued support, enthusiasm, and commitment. I look forward to working with all of you and to an exciting year ahead!

Warm regards,

Stathis Manousos

President
